Lin-greeni

It’s like sitting in green spaghetti (which has Roscoe’s vote) without the messy tomato sauce stains. But more so Owen loves that it's made entirely from recycled domestic waste… this little design gem is available from UK based Cohda as a limited edition so rush out and slurp it up pasta haste!

Flour Power

Roscoe recommends brownies for beating the blues… packed with endorphin boosting chockie and all organic ingredients (so they can’t possibly be bad for you)… and what better place to buy them than Flour Power City Baker’s stall at our fav foodie spot Borough Market…
(Roscoe’s also a sucker for word play, get it… Flour Power…)

Wholly beautiful

Oh oh oh - we SO love these creations by architect Gulnur Ozdaglar - made from recycled or more aptly reincarnated plastic bottles proof that there is life after fizzy pop and it’s truly beautiful - we are sooo wanting one of these!
Ps coming down from the quasi-religious experience to a more practical level she drills every hole herself… masterful!

Rock babies

Team radici's new fav blog with ‘tude is MumsRock.com ironic cos we ain’t mums but soo many friends are that we thought… hey… this is one way of keeping in the loop and seeming to know it all without the sleepless nights.
So mum or not it's well worth a read - the features are witty, edgy and well concieved (OK bad pun) - all the more so amazing considering the collective lack of sleep

China White

Manchester based home grown Helen Felcey’s porcelain work is austere and delicate - apparently influenced by her visiting and exhibiting in China… team radici loves the papery translucent singed cups contrasting with the dark lacquered wood…

Tea-tox time

Roscoe is rather a foody as you may have gathered over Chrissy (egg nog etc) and has managed to sniff out a cunning addition to the new year detox diet … green tea cupcakes from Crumbs and Doilies - green tea cupcakes are an integral part of a balanced detox regime right…right… and you burn off quite a few calories opening the beautiful box too.

Behind the Design... Amy Adams

Amy Adams of Perch! is the brain behind radici's stash of gorgeous eggy-like (OK Ovoid..if you must) bowls and mini bowls and the very fabulous shake a leg set... she's the latest to grant our Owen an inteview

Q:And who was your childhood hero?
A: My friend’s mom who taught me how to shuffle a deck of cards

Q: What tune do you whistle when you’re making tea?
A: Funny because I am the worst whistler and even my cat stares at me if I start.

Q: Which cartoon character do you most identify with?
A: I’ll say Lucy from the Peanuts because I can be a little bitchy.

Q: Would you wear knitted bathing trunks under any circumstances?
A: Sure, that sounds cozy.

Card Rock

Talented homegrown corrugated cardboard wizard Giles Miller has won loads of awards and commissions and we can see why - team radici are loving the laptop case - it's apple-green at its freshest! He’s also teamed up on great collaborative site called Farm - like a day in design country

Art Felt

Stephanie Metz is our new fav felter - she crafts the most exquisitely observed felt sculptures ranging from domestic beasts to teddy bears with a twist - some of it strays into the cote noir but it’s a refreshing change from cute gnomes

2009 will be...

A lovely graphic from our favourite designer - Fabien Barral. We do hope he is right!
